Thanks and praise go to Andrew Nitikin, who has made this customizable emulator which lets you create your own slide rule using an extensive set of scales: I am still customizing this for my Klingon purposes. Andrew's original version is here:http://www33.brinkster.com/nsg21/slide/sryae.htm.

My special addition is the Klingon rule, based on Roger Cheesbro's excellent investigations into the ancient Klingon mathematics. His brass Slide Rule is here:

More about Klingon Mathematics is here.

Click for a working Klingon Slide rule (press "f" to flip the rule over for a more "normal" human one).

NOTE: I find these work best in IE or Opera 7.22.

==[]-- Slide rule emulator

There were thousands of slide rules produced, many of them with interesting scale layouts. Some of them are rare and expensive nowadays, or just not easy to find. So, to be able to try different calculations on these rules I have written this slide rule emulator. It will allow you to build any rule from scales from supplied scale list. I believe, this list contains enough scales to build a lot of interesting rules, but it is by no means full. From time to time I add new scales to this list.

Reqiurements

IE 4.0 (or later) or Netscape 4.x is required.
