Dating the Entries

As you read through the entries in the CUSWE, you will see phrases like "...during the height of the Galactic Civil War..." or "...during the era of the Clone Wars...". Wherever possible, I've tried to add these phrases to help place an entry in the general timeline of the Star Wars universe. Rather than placing hard numbers on entries (although there are some hard numbers in the database records), I often simply provide a worded time reference to an important event. In an effort to make sure that these don't become confusing, the table below will help you understand my inherent dating scheme.

The central columns of the table contain several key events and dates in the Star Wars chronology. Where possible, I have grouped events together under larger events, such as the various battles of the Clone Wars.

The left-hand column shows my description of an era. So, wherever I say "...during the Galactic Civil War...", you can now see what I mean.

The right-hand column shows the official Lucas Books descriptions of the eras, to correlate my words to the official words.
